APRT´s entry “Urbis” won the competition and was basis for the city plan of the area. The area of the site is approximately 15 hectares ans it is located in the Myllypuro district of Helsinki. Ratasmyllyntie road divides the site into two sub-areas. The project gross floor area of housing is 60.000 sq.m. for 1600 people. The goal was to create an urban, low-rise residential area with a distinct character – an urban village.
