Helminauha won the first prize in Ida Aalbergintie plot purchase competition.

The design comprises of 14 row house apartments divided into three building volumes. The volumes adapt to the terrain and are located around an impressive boulder in the middle of the plot. The boulder is preserved and made into a focal point of a communal courtyard defined by the three building volumes. All the apartments open to the surrounding nature as well as to the common yard.
